2008 Nomination of Officers

Our Bylaws require that next year's slate of candidates be
posted on our Web site no later than 45 days before the
annual meeting. This is that notice.

The slate from Nominating Committee, which met on November 3rd,
is:

President -- Sid Bratkovich

Vice President and Co-Program Chair -- Marilyn Justman

Secretary -- Chuck Goldstein

Treasurer -- Lee Ruttenberg

As stipulated in the Bylaws, "Subsequent to the announcement
of the slate of candidates, members may nominate candidates
for any office. A nominating petition for each candidate
must be submitted to the Nominating Committee at least
thirty (30) days prior to the annual elections, stipulating
the position for which the individual is being nominated.
The petition must include the signatures of ten percent
(10%) of the membership as of the date of submission."

Petitions should be sent to Marilyn Justman, Chair of the
Nominating Committee (1000 Wesley, Evanston 60202).

With our current membership at no more than 22, only 3 signatures are required on a nominating petition.
Petitions are due no later than Thursday, Nov. 20.

The Board will consist of the elected officers, three appointed officers, and the past President, for a total of seven Directors. This is the minimum number of Directors stipulated in the Bylaws.
